Milton is 2-8 against Selinsgrove since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Milton Black Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Selinsgrove Seals at 7:30 p.m. Milton is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Milton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They came out on top against Bucktail by a score of 65-52.
Even though Selinsgrove has not done well against Central Mountain recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Selinsgrove walked away with a 62-51 win over Central Mountain.
Ries Naugle was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Xaivier Jackson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Milton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. Selinsgrove's record now sits at 8-4.
Milton took a serious blow against Selinsgrove in their previous meeting on January 3rd, falling 70-26. Can Milton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
