Santa Fe and Keystone Heights are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Santa Fe has 11 straight victories, Keystone Heights has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Santa Fe had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt Buchholz on Monday. The Raiders never let the Bobcats get on the board and left with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven matches by eight runs or more so far this season.
Ryleigh Davis looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

04/02/24 @ Columbia | 3 |
03/19/24 @ Williston | 3 |
02/22/24 @ Suwannee | 3 |

At the plate, Madisen Crosby was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Breleigh Ford, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Santa Fe always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .690. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Keystone Heights came up short against University Christian on Monday, falling 12-1.
Keystone Heights saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tayler Buchanan, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.
Santa Fe's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Keystone Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
Keystone Heights' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Santa Fe hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .381. It's a different story for Keystone Heights, though, as they've only averaged .237. Will they be able to contain Santa Fe's hitters?
Santa Fe came out on top in a nail-biter against Keystone Heights when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 8-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
