The Carrabec Cobras will square off against the Richmond Bobcats at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Carrabec barely beat Telstar the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cobras blew past the Rebels 15-1 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Cobras, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jillian Robinson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up ten Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Aiyana Tibbetts and Karen Baker did most of the damage at the plate: Tibbetts went 3-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases, while Baker went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. With that strong performance, Tibbetts is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Adawna Landry, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Carrabec was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Richmond posted their closest win since May 3rd on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Vinalhaven 13-12. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Carrabec's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Richmond, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Carrabec has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.6 hits per game. However, it's not like Richmond struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Carrabec skirted past Richmond 16-14 when the teams last played on May 2nd. Will the Cobras repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
