Nature Coast Tech is a perfect 10-0 against Weeki Wachee since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Nature Coast Tech Sharks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Weeki Wachee Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Nature Coast Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Weeki Wachee will be up against a hot Nature Coast Tech squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Nature Coast Tech skirted past Hernando 7-5.

The team relied heavily on Athena Brown, who went 3-for-5 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Caitlin Corrigan, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Weeki Wachee was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dunnellon.

Hailey Tarner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jayden Russo, who went 2-for-4 with one triple.

Weeki Wachee dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Nature Coast Tech, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Nature Coast Tech has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .444. However, it's not like Weeki Wachee struggles in that department as they've averaged .433. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Nature Coast Tech took their victory against Weeki Wachee when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-1. Will Nature Coast Tech repeat their success, or does Weeki Wachee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
