The Central Noble Cougars won the last time they faced the Bremen Lions, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Central Noble came out on top against Bremen by a score of 41-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Central Noble.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Noble to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kierra Bolen, who scored 13 points. Abby Pliett was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
Bremen lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emma Kincaid, who scored seven points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Eliana Grubbs, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Central Noble has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Bremen, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Noble will take on Garrett at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bremen, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on South Bend Washington at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th.
