In what's become a running theme this season, the Ravenscroft Ravens gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Durham Academy 62-24 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Ravenscroft has managed all season.
Ravenscroft was led to victory by Autumn Campbell and Ellie Cronin. Campbell scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Cronin scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Cronin hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jj Mitchell, who scored four points along with eight assists and three steals.
The win was the third in a row for Ravenscroft, bringing their record for this year to 13-8. As for Durham Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-14.
Ravenscroft will head out on the road to square off against Trinity Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Academy will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Durham Academy will take on Cary Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
