The Cardinal Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Monday, Cardinal ended up a good deal behind LaBrae and lost 69-50. While losing is never fun, Cardinal can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 709th, while LaBrae is ranked 288th).
Meanwhile, Andrews Osborne Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 56-33 defeat at the hands of Our Lady of the Elms. Andrews Osborne Academy was down 49-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Cardinal's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Andrews Osborne Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
Cardinal took their victory against Andrews Osborne Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2015 by a conclusive 53-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cardinal since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
