The Isle of Wight Academy Chargers lost against the Williamsburg Christian Academy Eagles back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Isle of Wight Academy was dealt a 80-47 defeat at the hands of the Eagles. Isle of Wight Academy has not had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Williamsburg Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Legend Bunch, who scored 27 points. Bunch is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Nathan Watson, who scored 17 points.
Isle of Wight Academy dropped their record down to 1-11 with that defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Williamsburg Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-14 record this season.
Isle of Wight Academy will head out on the road to take on the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. StoneBridge is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Williamsburg Christian Academy, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on February 5th. The Carmel School presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Eagles in Virginia (the Wildcats are ranked 138th, while the Eagles are ranked 320th).
