The Fishers Tigers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Brownsburg 60-45. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Fishers has scored all year.
It was another big night for Keenan Garner, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cooper Zachary, who scored seven points along with five assists.
Despite the loss, Brownsburg still got an impressive performance from Jordan Lomax, who scored 20 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Lattimer, who scored four points.
Fishers' victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0. As for Brownsburg, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
Fishers will head out on the road to take on Avon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Avon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Fishers is ranked first). Brownsburg won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Castle at 2:15 p.m. on January 13th. Castle is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 66.6 points per game.
