Carroll is 0-10 against Badin since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Patriots will head out to square off against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. Carroll has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Thursday just wasn't the day for Carroll's offense. They lost 13-0 to Bellbrook on Thursday.

Carroll got a good showing from Hayden Hoefler, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Hoefler has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Carroll saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Williams, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Badin waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.
Beau Chaney tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Cooper Anzalone was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Derek Ogden, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Badin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .387 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Badin's record now sits at 10-3. As for Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Carroll might still be hurting after the 12-0 loss they got from Badin in their previous matchup on Wednesday. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
