Legion Collegiate Academy won against Concord Academy on Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Lancers beat the Pro Stock Royals Academy Royals by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Camden Towell looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jackson Gordon was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Collin Tuttle, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI.

Legion Collegiate Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pro Stock Royals Academy only posted an OBP of .240.

Legion Collegiate Academy pushed their record up to 19-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Pro Stock Royals Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.

Legion Collegiate Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pro Stock Royals Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Westminster Catawba Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
