Volleyball Recap: Lanier's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Lanier unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of The King's Academy Knights.

Pilar Zucal paced Lanier's offense, picking up six kills. Zucal got some help from Addy Gosselin and her 11 assists. Gosselin also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaziah Vaughn, racking up three apiece.

Lanier now has a losing record of 3-4. As for The King's Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Lanier wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. Andrew's on the 9th. As for The King's Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Valwood on the 9th.
