Babcock waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Dunbar Tigers 53-14. The Trailblazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

Babcock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makena Ferry, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Marianeliz Murillo, who earned 13 points and five rebounds.

Despite the loss, Dunbar saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addision Fuhr put up six points and six rebounds.

Babcock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for Dunbar, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Babcock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 48-19 win against Ida Baker on the 4th. As for Dunbar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-8 victory against Cypress Lake on the 4th.
