After soaring to 66 points the game before, the Pringle-Morse Cougars were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by Texline on the road and fell 96-16. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pringle-Morse has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Texline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hayden Alston, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Hayden Drumm, who scored 21 points along with three steals.
Pringle-Morse's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Texline, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pringle-Morse will take on Adrian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Texline, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wildorado at 7:30 p.m. Wildorado is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
