Baseball Recap: Mount Dora Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against East Ridge

Mount Dora Christian Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against East Ridge on Thursday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Knights.

Beckham Stirling looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Mount Dora Christian Academy is 4-1 when Stirling allows two or fewer earned runs, but 5-11 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Eli Feld, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Opgenorth, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.
