Last Friday, Dripping Springs lost to Austin at home by a decisive 46-27 margin. Dripping Springs has struggled against Austin recently, as their match on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Bowie can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past Anderson, posting a 61-22 victory on the road. The win was familiar territory for Bowie who now have three in a row.
Dripping Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Bowie, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
Dripping Springs might still be hurting after the 55-35 loss they got from Bowie when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Dripping Springs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
