The biggest upset of the week belonged to Highland, who defeated 223rd ranked Dover, 33-0.
New Paltz's Nick DiMarco rumbled for the longest rushing play in Section 9 B this season in his game against Monticello last week. DiMarco scampered for 51 yards on the play and finished with 103 on the day as his team defeated the Panthers.
Marlboro Central's dynamic duo of RYAN CARY and MATT MARQUIS proved to be unstoppable against Rondout Valley, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. CARY threw for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns and MARQUIS had 92 yards receiving. ZACK SAKADELIS helped Marlboro Central's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 36 yards.
The Dukes' dynamic duo of CARY and MARQUIS proved tough for the Ganders to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
MARQUIS was the best receiver in the league this week as Marlboro Central topped Rondout Valley.
Trevor Dolan was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 116 yards on 21 carries as Spackenkill defeated George Lacabaccio's team. Teammate Billy Winnis added to the ground attack by rushing for 66 yards.
He went 11-16 with 0 interceptions.
CARY put up the best numbers through the air as the Dukes defeated the Ganders.
Marlboro Central's CARY and MARQUIS have formed a dream team this season, leading Section 9 B in both passing and receiving yards. CARY has thrown for 190 yards this season, while MARQUIS has 4 catches for 92 yards. The Spartans' Dolan leads the league in rushing yards with 116.
The Huskies are in fourth place, while Red Hook is in first place.
Highland scaled the state rankings by moving to 283 from 349 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Huskies climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Dragons 33-0.
