The Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) will head out on the road to square off against the Somerset Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
After soaring to seven goals the game before, Uvalde were a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 4-1 walloping at the hands of Pleasanton.

Meanwhile, everything went Somerset's way against Hondo on Friday as Somerset made off with a 5-1 win. The victory was just what Somerset needed coming off of a 5-2 defeat in their prior contest.
Uvalde has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-2 record this season. As for Somerset, their win bumped their record up to 2-7-1.
Everything went Uvalde's way against Somerset in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 as Uvalde made off with a 6-1 win. Does Uvalde have another victory up their sleeve, or will Somerset turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
