It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-47, which was the final score in MacArthur's tilt against Richardson on Tuesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for MacArthur in their matchups with Richardson: they've now lost eight in a row.
Despite the loss, MacArthur saw an underclassman step up: Jakyran Madden scored 22 points along with five rebounds. The game was Madden's third in a row with at least ten points. Patrick Daniels was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Dallas Jesuit has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 69-37 victory over Irving. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dallas Jesuit.
MacArthur bumped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Dallas Jesuit, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
MacArthur might still be hurting after the 56-36 defeat they got from Dallas Jesuit in their previous meeting back in January. Can MacArthur avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
