The matchup between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Holland falling 43-27. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for them in their matchups with C.H. Yoe: they've now lost three in a row.
C.H. Yoe can attribute much of their success to Camryn Ward, who scored 20 points. Ward continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubree Brashear, who scored 6 points.
Holland has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for C.H. Yoe, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.
Holland will head out on the road to face off against Central Texas Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Texas Christian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for C.H. Yoe, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Valley Mills at 2:00 p.m.
