After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pike Road, the Marbury Bulldogs were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They skirted past Autaugaville 48-46. This was a revenge match for Marbury, as the team was forced to settle for a 53-49 loss when these two played last Thursday.
Marbury's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jacob Driver led the charge by scoring 14 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of DJ Graham, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Marbury pushed their record up to 6-12 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Autaugaville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
Marbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Autaugaville also has no future games currently scheduled.
