The Concord Raiders may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will head out on the road to face off against the Delcastle Technical Cougars on Tuesday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close contest.
The Raiders made easy work of Freire Charter School Wilmington on Monday and carried off a 95-71 victory.
Meanwhile, Delcastle Technical faced Mount Pleasant in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Last Friday, Delcastle Technical lost to Mount Pleasant on the road by a decisive 49-36 margin.
Concord's win lifted them to 11-6 while Delcastle Technical's loss dropped them down to 11-4. We'll see if Concord can repeat their recent success or if Delcastle Technical bounces back and reverse their fortune.
