Two dominant players in Elijah Kersey and Peyton Kotter are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Box Elder Bees will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Clearfield Falcons at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Box Elder is ranked 71st, while Clearfield is ranked 79th).
On Wednesday, Box Elder didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Bonneville, but they still walked away with a 48-43 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Box Elder to victory, but perhaps none more so than Max Isaacson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kersey, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Clearfield pushed their score all the way to 64 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 74-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Roy. Clearfield has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Box Elder has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season. As for Clearfield, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-9.
Box Elder didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Clearfield in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, but they still walked away with a 52-47 victory.
