Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Lumberton). They blew past the Jasper Bulldogs 14-0 on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  victory against them.
 Hudson Emerson made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. That one hit allowed gave  him a new career-low. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Gavin Harmse was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with five  RBI and two  doubles. Those  two  doubles gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Luke Cody, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Lumberton  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  hit total in four consecutive  matches.
Lumberton's record is now 13-5-1. As for Jasper, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record  this season.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lumberton beat Jasper by a score of  5-4 on Friday.
