The biggest upset of the week belonged to Saddle Brook, who took down 56th ranked Saddle Brook, 31-17.
Becton's Daaon Huggins rumbled for the longest rushing play in North Jersey - Meadowlands this season in his game against North Arlington last week. Huggins scampered for 67 yards on the play and finished with 183 on the day as his team topped the Vikings.
North Arlington's dynamic duo of Angelo Nocciolo and Nicholas Martin proved tough for Becton to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Nocciolo threw for 344 yards and five touchdowns and Martin had 166 yards receiving. James Cedola helped North Arlington's passing attack out by catching five balls for 73 yards.
The Vikings' Nocciolo and Mike Brazzel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Nocciolo has thrown for 1420 yards this season, while Brazzel, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 22 catches for 438 yards. Hasbrouck Heights's Anthony Seidel leads the league in rushing yards with 605.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Waldwick/Midland Park takes on the Aviators. The Warriors are in fourth place, while Hasbrouck Heights is in first place.
The Aviators extended the longest winning streak in North Jersey - Meadowlands this week by beating the Falcons, 31-17. The victory was the sixth in a row for Hasbrouck Heights.
