On Saturday, everything came up roses for De Anza on the road against Gateway as the team secured a 97-36 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 56-20.
De Anza found their leader in underclassman Ahmari Otis, who scored 35 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Otis has scored at least 25% of De Anza's points. Jacari Madison was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
De Anza now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gateway, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
De Anza will be playing in front of their home fans against Swett at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gateway's road trip will continue as they head out to face Burton at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th.
