Jefferson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Le, who scored 11 points. Charles Yancy was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Jefferson's defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-5. As for Auburn, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Jefferson will be home for the holidays to greet Kent-Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Auburn, they will head out on the road to face off against Kentlake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kentlake is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
