North Coast - White recap November 5, 2013
Cleveland Central Catholic extended the longest winning streak in North Coast - White this week by beating John F. Kennedy Catholic, 28-20. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Ironmen.
Trinity took down Western Reserve Academy 40-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Cory Haire ran for 136 yards and caught 2 passes for 15 yards in the win.
Haire provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Trojans topped the Pioneers.
Kyle McSweeney and Haire gave Trinity a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. McSweeney threw for 54 yards and 1 touchdown, while Haire ran for 136 yards. Teammate Antonio Capasso added to the ground attack by rushing for 82 yards.
Cleveland Central Catholic's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Ironmen feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Desmond Lundy has thrown for 1,491 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Kie'Sean Cooke has 46 catches for 657 yards.
Villa Angela-St. Joseph led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Holy Name.
