The Juab Wasps will take on the Carbon Dinos at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Juab is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Juab is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Payson just ended the team's 12-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 7-4 to the Lions.

Koen Matinson was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits.

At the plate, Juab saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trevin Park, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Carbon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let Manti get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The result came thanks to Maddex Willson's shutout, as he gave up just three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

With the victory, Carbon broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-12. As for Juab, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.

Juab came out on top in a nail-biter against Carbon when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Do the Wasps have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dinos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
