After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Exeter-Milligan/Friend, the Silver Lake Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 50-39 win over Pleasanton. For Silver Lake, this counts as revenge for the 51-43 loss Pleasanton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Jordan Faimon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Those 23 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Keaton Karr, who scored eight points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Silver Lake's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Pleasanton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
Silver Lake will look to defend their home court on Friday against Blue Hill at 7:30 p.m. As for Pleasanton, they will head out on the road to face off against Twin Loup on Saturday.
