Several Ducks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tanielu Cox, who punched in three rushing scores.
Eagle's View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Leonard Holton, who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycen Lowery, who rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
The team's defense also helped out by holding Cornerstone Charter Academy to a paltry 143 yards. A big part of that defensive dominance came down to Eagle's View's ability to keep the quarterback under pressure: the team laid him out three times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Gary DeLeon-Rivera and his two sacks.
Cornerstone Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Eagle's View, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Cornerstone Charter Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Eagle's View will take on Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Lighthouse Private Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
