Johna Abramowicz made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her seven plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
