Graden Pontius Delivers Best Effort of Season
South Callaway was led to victory by Graden Pontius, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Pontius rushed for 244 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 40 yards and a touchdown.

On Friday, Wright City had to settle for second even though Dayton Humphreys put up the best numbers he has all season. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Wright City's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. Humphreys and Wright City will take on Montgomery County on Friday.
