The Meridian Mustangs lost against the Frankenmuth Eagles back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Meridian took a hard 53-39 fall against Frankenmuth.
Among those leading the charge was Thomas Conzelmann, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Edwards, who scored 13 points.
Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Frankenmuth, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meridian will take on Gladwin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Frankenmuth, they will be playing at home against Freeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Freeland will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
