Ridgewood lost to Fenton back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Ridgewood Rebels sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 63-60 win over the Fenton Bison. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rebels.

Despite the defeat, Fenton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Armany Sutton went 10 of 17 en route to 23 points. With that strong performance, Sutton is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Josiah Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Ridgewood has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points per game. As for Fenton, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Ridgewood has already played their next game (against Glenbard South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fenton will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake View at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lake View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season.
