On Friday, St. Augustine Catholic suffered a rough 77-53 loss at the hands of Heritage Academy.
Defeat or not, St. Augustine Catholic got some senior leadership from Peter Dogbegah and Jake Lupo. Dogbegah dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds, while Lupo. scored 18 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lupo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Edwin Crandall, who scored 11 points.
St. Augustine Catholic has not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Heritage Academy, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7.
St. Augustine Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Horizon Honors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Horizon Honors has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 284 points over their last four games.
