Even though the Pahrump Valley Trojans scored an imposing 64 points on Wednesday, the Boulder City Eagles still came out on top. Boulder City walked away with a 71-64 victory over Pahrump Valley. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Boulder City.
Boulder City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luke Wright led the charge by scoring 20 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Rose, who scored 18 points along with six steals.
Boulder City is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Pahrump Valley, they dropped their record down to 8-16 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Boulder City will look to defend their home court on Monday against Virgin Valley at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Boulder City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Wednesday. Pahrump Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
