Yolo Salas Has Career-Day on Friday
Starting off the list is Liberty Bell's Yolo Salas, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Salas rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The victory (which was Liberty Bell's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Salas and Liberty Bell will face off against Brewster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Teague As Manson Won 28-0
Manson found a leader in Jaxon Teague as the team took down Tonasket on Friday. Teague was unstoppable, rushing for 130 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Teague and Manson will look to defend their home field on Friday against Okanogan at 7:00 p.m. Teague will face off against David Huffstetler, the Bulldogs' star running back. Will the contest be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Baker Smith Delivers Best Performance of Season
Baker Smith posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes.
For the season, Smith has run in those 1 touchdown while averaging 12.5 rushing yards per game.

Alejandre Made His Presence Known in Lake Roosevelt's 57-6 Loss
Ivan Alejandre put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 202 yards on 13 of 25 attempts.

Carter Kuchenbuch's big game helped extend Okanogan's winning streak to 20 on Friday. Kuchenbuch turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 55 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 46 yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 55 yards.
Kuchenbuch might have his next game, a road matchup with Manson, circled on his calendar. Kuchenbuch rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.
