Wolcott RVT and Vinal RVT are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Wildcats will host the Hawks at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Wolcott RVT is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
Wolcott RVT is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Bassick get on the board and left with a 24-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Wildcats have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Daniel Mazzetti made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with four runs and one RBI.

Vinal RVT couldn't beat Platt RVT on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Hawks fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-5. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wolcott RVT pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Vinal RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.
Vinal RVT's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Wolcott RVT hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .372. It's a different story for Vinal RVT, though, as they've only averaged .256. Will they be able to contain Wolcott RVT's hitters?
Wolcott RVT skirted past Vinal RVT 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
