Meanwhile, American can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent matchup last Wednesday. Everything went their way against Miami Springs as American made off with a 34-12 win. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for American's eight-point performance the match before.
American's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brown Davin, who rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnny Henderson, who rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Pembroke Pines Charter's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for American, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Pembroke Pines Charter skirted past American 23-20 when the teams last played back in October of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pembroke Pines Charter since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
