There's no place like home for the Box Elder Bees, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 48-43 victory over Bonneville on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Box Elder also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Box Elder's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Max Isaacson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Kersey, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Bonneville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nick Sebahar, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Sebahar hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Davis Degroot, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Box Elder has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season. As for Bonneville, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Box Elder will take on Clearfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Clearfield is ranked 79th, while Box Elder is ranked 71st). As for Bonneville, they will be playing at home against Viewmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Viewmont has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 204 points over their last three contests.
