Stebbins is 2-8 against Sidney since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Stebbins Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sidney Yellowjackets at 7:15 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Stebbins' five-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Friday. They snuck past Piqua with a 33-27 victory. The victory was just what Stebbins needed coming off of a 61-38 defeat in their prior matchup.
Bryson Bishop was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jessiah Brown, who scored five points.
Meanwhile, Sidney blew past Xenia, posting a 54-24 victory on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sidney.
Stebbins' victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2. As for Sidney, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Stebbins beat Sidney 65-56 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Stebbins repeat their success, or does Sidney have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
