IC Catholic Prep dropped their record down to 7-16 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the De La Salle Meteors by a score of 8-6. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Meteors earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

As for De La Salle, their record now sits at 8-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since April 1st.

For De La Salle's part, Daniel Rocha was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Rocha has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Francisco Rodriguez, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. IC Catholic Prep will host Ridgewood at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rebels have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for De La Salle, they will welcome Leo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Meteors are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
