On the hitting side, Braden River got a big performance out of Jacoby Cox, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Daniel Norbeck tossed a big game, striking out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. He also tossed three walks, marking his first of the season.
At the plate, Parrish Community let Tyler Brown and Tyler Cripe run wild. Brown scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Cripe scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Jayden Peters was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Parrish Community's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Braden River, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
