Meanwhile, Metrolina Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 44-40 to the Lions. Metrolina Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gaston Day's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season.
