Glendale Prep Academy came into Thursday's   contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by  an  8-2 margin over the Northland Prep Academy Spartans. The  win was just what Glendale Prep Academy needed coming off of  an  11-4 loss in their prior  game.
  Logan Middendorf spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 16 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Nathaniel Jensen was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Thomas Laverriere, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-3.
 On Northland Prep Academy's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jordan Donahue, who  went 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, a  triple,  and a  run.
 Glendale Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-6-1. As for Northland Prep Academy, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
 Glendale Prep Academy will head out on the road to  face off against  Trivium Prep at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. As for Northland Prep Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Valley Christian Academy at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday. North Valley Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.3  runs per game this season.
