Purvis won the last time they faced East Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Tornadoes walked away with a 26-16 win over the Hornets. The victory was nothing new for the Tornadoes as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the loss, East Central still got an impressive performance from Maddox Dunn, who rushed for 195 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 125 yards on five of 19 attempts. Dunn is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 131 every time he's taken the field this season.
Purvis' win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for East Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
