The Cooperstown Hawkeyes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. Everything went their way against New York Mills as Cooperstown made off with a 67-41 win. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Cooperstown has managed all season.
Charlie Lambert continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with five assists and four steals. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Cooper Coleman was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds.
The victory got Cooperstown back to even at 3-3. As for New York Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Cooperstown will be home for the holidays to greet Unatego at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. New York Mills will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
