Bingham is 8-2 against Herriman since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Miners will take on the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. Bingham is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
Bingham came out on top against Corner Canyon on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Miners never let the Chargers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Miners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by eight runs or more this season.

04/25/25 vs Providence Hall | 2 |
04/24/25 vs Riverton | 1 |
The result came thanks to Brecka Larson's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Shyann Banasky was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Dylan Abeyta also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Bingham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Herriman faced Riverton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Silverwolves.
Ashlyn Beratto spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on ten hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on McKenzie Quintero, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Lancaster, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Herriman is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Bingham, their record is now 14-7-2.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bingham hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .348. However, it's not like Herriman struggles in that department as they've averaged .365. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bingham suffered a grim 19-7 defeat to Herriman when the teams last played back in March. Can the Miners avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
