The Thompson Valley Eagles and the Holy Family Tigers squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Thompson Valley Eagles had to settle for second. They took a hard 21-7 fall against the Tigers. Thompson Valley's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.
Riley Suarez threw for 136 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 136 yards and a touchdown. Garet Hendrickson was his top target, picking up 50 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Rylan Cooney was his usual excellent self, rushing for 58 yards and two touchdowns for Holy Family.
Thompson Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Holy Family, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1.
